Media.

Over the years, Antbird Tours has been featured on a number of media outlets. Below are just a few examples.

A testimonial from one of the greatest conservationists of our time.

In March 2026, I had the pleasure of leading Carl Safina on a birding tour to Panama. If you don't know him, Carl is an ecologist, author and winner of a MacArthur "genius" prize as well as both Pew and Guggenheim Fellowships. He was also recently featured on Oprah Winfrey's podcast. His books are life changing.

After 5 days of leading Carl through Panama, he left this testimonial of his experience:

“I’ve been to every continent in the company of some of the world’s true experts. But after traveling with Charles Clarkson, I don’t think I want to go anywhere without him. He knows what he’s looking for, sees everything, has extraordinary superhuman ears for detangling bird songs and call notes—and attends to every detail of logistics and comfort. He is also, simply, excellent company.”

That is high praise from such an accomplished human!

Not directly linked to Antbird Tours, but still “bird related”, this PBS special covers the work I’ve done in the past an ornithologist and conservation biologist. The cinematography was nicely done.

A podcast on birding and the concept of a “nemesis bird”.

In June of 2025, Antbird Tours was featured on the popular podcast, Pablo Torre Finds Out. The podcast, considered to be the most popular sports podcast in the country, has been awarded the Edward R. Murrow and Peabody Awards.

The podcast was an absolute blast to film. You can watch the entire episode HERE.
